Hi there, here’s how to configure china phones to browse and download from the internet.

How to Configure China Phones for Browsing
- Open Menu and Goto WAP or INTERNET then Settings, use the configuration below:
Account name: mtn
APN: choose any apn but take not of the name e.g CHINAGPRS
Username: web
Password: web
Auth type: Normal
Homepage: http://google.com
Connection type: http or wap choose WAP
Proxy address: 010.199.212.002
Proxy Port: 8080
Primary and Seondary DNS should be left the way it is
Save it and go back and look for data accounts or APN, create a new Data Account then use this
Name: mtn apn
Username: web
Password: web
Apn (access point: web.gprs.mtnnigeria.net
Save and exit.
Now Save and close then open internet and start to browse. Make sure you have some airtime or internet data bundle else it won’t work.
As you can see, the settings I’ve provided above is only applicable on mtn network so if you are not an mtn subscriber just drop a comment below and I will give you internet configuration for your network.
